We know Harvest is the time of year when your combine practically becomes a second home. Those long hours add up, and sometimes it’s the little things that can help get you through the day.
The NuTech team really wanted to do something to help make life in the combine a bit more comfortable. So, we got together and brainstormed some ideas: What could a farmer really use when they’re in the combine all day?
Our solution was what we called a “combine kit” and our team has been busy distributing them throughout the Central Corn Belt during harvest season.
Each kit includes:
- 3.5 gallon bucket that can be used as a trash can in the combine
- heavy-duty glass cleaner and microfiber cloth
- first-aid kit
- stick ‘em to hold your phone, tablet or anything else up on the window
- antibacterial wipes
- crayons and a coloring book to keep your little farmer entertained
The kits seemed to be a big hit and we’re thinking about making them an annual tradition. Have an idea for something you’d like to see in next year’s kit? Leave us a note on our Facebook page.
